GÖRG advises on sale of Andersch AG to FTI Consulting Inc.

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised under the lead management of its partner Dr. Roland Hoffmann-Theinert the shareholders of Andersch AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (Frankfurt am Main) on the sale of the shares to FTI Consulting Inc. (Washington). The transaction is subject to antitrust approval.

Andersch AG is one of the leading restructuring consultancies in the DACH region. With almost 100 Professionals, it advises companies in crisis situations in Germany and also offers interim management services. Andersch AG is regularly active in highly complex and sensitive restructuring situations.

FTI Consulting is a NY Stock Exchange listed consulting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., USA. FTI is one of the world's leading restructuring consulting firms with a focus on the USA and the UK. The company employs more than 4,700 people in 28 countries.

Through the merger between Andersch AG and the globally active FTI, the foreign platform of Andersch AG is to be established and expanded in order to be able to comprehensively advise international corporate groups in restructuring processes across borders. Through this acquisition, FTI will gain a strong, experienced and powerful partner in the DACH region in order to strengthen its presence in the important DACH key market. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2019.
