GÖRG Sustainability
In a world in which sustainability is becoming increasingly important, GÖRG is making its own contribution. For us, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) is not just a term, but a conviction we live by. Sustainability is not just a trend, but an integral part of our daily activities. Through a variety of measures and initiatives, we at GÖRG continuously strive to strengthen our commitment to a sustainable future.
From switching to green electricity and providing charging stations for electric cars to consistent waste separation and regular energy audits, we are actively working to improve our environmental footprint. We see ourselves as an employer that takes social responsibility. We offer our employees flexible and mobile working models, coaching and further training as well as comprehensive pension schemes and are clearly committed to diversity and equal opportunities in our law firm. As a company, we also see ourselves as an integral part of our society and take responsibility here too, for example through our commitment in the form of donations, voluntary work and pro bono advice for charitable organisations and people in need.
At GÖRG, we pride ourselves on being a modern law firm. We are committed to sustainable corporate management based on environmentally friendly business practices, social responsibility and the highest standards of governance. Our employees, clients and the society in general are at the centre of everything we do and we strive to make a positive contribution to the world of tomorrow.
„Ladies League by GÖRG“
The "Ladies League by GÖRG" initiative launched by GÖRG offers a platform for an exclusive exchange to promote the business development of women and for an exchange on topics that concern women in the business world. We have set ourselves the goal of providing a platform for the topic of "female business" and jointly identifying potential for the business development and careers of women at GÖRG.
The Ladies League by GÖRG initiative pursues the goal of intuitive and needs-oriented networking in order to master personal challenges in a professional context with the appropriate support.
Our network is based on the following three pillars:
From networking to workshops - we have a wide range of offers with a strong focus on the professional career development of women. Together with experienced lecturers and female managers, we create a space for exchange and further training. Our events, such as the "Empower Hour" and "Ladies Lunches", promote not only the exchange of knowledge but also the development of a strong network within our firm and in the business world.
Through the "Ladies League by GÖRG", we create a working environment in which everyone can develop their full potential.
GÖRG Diversity
At GÖRG, we are proud to work together as people with diverse cultural, ethnic, religious and ideological, gender and sexual identities on the firm basis of mutual respect. Because we know that personalities can only meet each other, benefit and learn from their different perspectives through exchange and dialogue, we continuously cultivate our networking among ourselves as well as externally. Mutual understanding and acceptance are based on the appreciative perception of our fellow human beings, their unique experiences and their needs. We offer and create space for the visibility of our diversity.
GÖRG signed the Diversity Charter to promote diversity in the workplace in March 2019.
GÖRG LGBT+
As part of the GÖRG LGBT+ initiative, our projects promote our togetherness as a community. Connected like this, we do not only understand each other better, but also our clients and their concerns.
Our LGBT+ initiative offers regular exchange and events for members of the LGBT+ community as well as their allies. Together with our Diversity Working Group and our external partnerships, we realize our aspiration for a working environment in which diversity represents a valuable asset.
As GÖRG LGBT+ initiative
- we take into account the perspectives of our LGBT+ clients and our employees,
- we are open to people, their ideas and new projects.
In the long-term, further measures are planned as part of our GÖRG LGBT+ Initiative, which we will continuously communicate here.
Flexible work schedules
Dedicated team work requires fair conditions and flexible solutions. This is why GÖRG focuses on finding a good balance between our law careers, family and free time — for instance through:
- Arrangement of childcare
- Individual part-time agreements
- Option of working partially from home
- Beneficial conditions at fitness studios
