GÖRG Partner Caroline Stevens, LL.M. (corp. restruc.) appointed as provisional insolvency administrator of DIE Fachkraft GmbH

Bremen, 04.01.2022

The company DIE Fachkraft GmbH, with its registered office in Bremen, filed an application for the opening of insolvency proceedings due to insolvency and over-indebtedness with the competent Local Court of Bremen - Insolvency Court - on 27 December 2021. The insolvency court appointed the experienced GÖRG partner Caroline Stevens, LL.M. (corp. restruc) as provisional insolvency administrator by order dated 28 December 2021.

The company was founded in 2016 and initially focused on the area of personnel consulting and coaching. In 2020, the business field of employee leasing was developed. The focus in the area of employee leasing is on the quick and precise placement of skilled workers and assistants in the areas of logistics, transport, warehousing, industry and trade. Employees are hired out in commercial and technical areas, with commercial employees also being made available to customers.

Since 2021, the debtor has also operated an independent project office on the topic of "integration of refugees into the primary labour market" in the Creative HUB Bremen.

The company had fallen into economic difficulties after the personnel requirements of the debtor's clients had fallen drastically in 2021 as a result of the semiconductor crisis and the associated decline in manufacturing and loading in the automotive sector. Restructuring measures that had already been introduced, including a reduction in staff, were not able to take effect quickly enough, so that the company was finally forced to file for insolvency on 27 December 2021.

DIE Fachkraft GmbH currently still employs around 120 people and has a branch in Bremerhaven in addition to its main office in Bremen. The wages and salaries of the employees are covered by the insolvency benefits of the Federal Employment Agency up to and including February 2022.

The business operations of the insolvency debtor will be continued in full under the supervision of the provisional insolvency administrator. The goal of the provisional insolvency administrator is now to stabilise the business operations and to initiate an orderly investor process.
