GÖRG advises on the sale of S-IMK to S-Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG

[Cologne, ] GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised the shareholders of S Institut für Marketing und Kundenbindung GmbH (S-IMK), five savings banks from NRW under the lead management of Kreissparkasse Köln, on the sale to S-Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG, a 100% subsidiary of Deutscher Sparkassen Verlag GmbH (DSV).

The aim of the transaction is to concentrate expertise and services in the areas of value-added and marketing solutions, media customer service and the consulting and development of customer loyalty solutions for the savings banks and alliance partners in the DSV Group (Deutscher Sparkassenverlag). The shareholders of S-Markt & Mehrwert - Deutsche Sparkassenverlag (DSV), and Deutsche Assistance Versicherung AG (ÖRAG Group) - as well as the owners of S-IMK, five savings banks in North Rhine-Westphalia, have already approved the merger. The transaction is to be implemented in the near future - after approval by the Federal Cartel Office.

In the future, DSV will continue to hold 51 percent of the shares in S-Markt & Mehrwert as majority shareholder and will continue its entrepreneurial management.
