- Transfer of the refurbishment of the care centres in Waldmössingen, Stockach, Brunsbüttel and Schwanewede to regional operators
- Care for a total of 200 residents provided by 173 employees in established care centres
- Care home in Sprakensehl-Bokel had to be closed in agreement with the home supervisory authority
After around three months, the insolvency administrator of Stegwiesen Pflegezentrum GmbH, Dr Holger Leichtle from the law firm GÖRG, has completed the structured investor process for the group.
With effect from 1 March 2025, a care group from Württemberg took over the Stegwiesen care home in Stockach (34 care places, 34 employees) and the Waldmössingen care home in Schramberg (68 care places, 54 employees). Previously, the nursing homes Haus Uthaven in Brunsbüttel (49 nursing places, 43 employees) and Haus Vital in Schwanewede (49 nursing places, 42 employees) were each sold to regional operators as part of a transferring reorganisation.
For the Ruhesitz Romantica nursing home in Sprakensehl-Bokel (65 nursing places, 43 employees), the residents had to be transferred to other facilities in an orderly manner - in agreement with the home supervisory authority - due to a lack of interest from investors. The employees were made redundan.
When the insolvency court appointed Dr Leichtle as provisional insolvency administrator at the end of November 2024, the management of the Spechbach health centre in the Rhine-Neckar district (39 care places, 26 employees) had already had the residents relocated.
