GÖRG has advised Munich-based Green Structures GmbH on the legal aspects of forming a partnership with Kai Laumann Zimmerei- und Bedachungs GmbH. A GÖRG team led by Frankfurt partner Markus Beyer assisted Green Structures in the transaction.
Kai Laumann Zimmerei- und Bedachung GmbH, based in Wettenberg, Hesse, was founded in 1999 and has since gained extensive expertise in the realisation of building projects - especially with timber constructions. With around 90 employees, the construction company specialises in solid timber construction, carpentry and roofing work, as well as façade design and turnkey construction. Kai Laumann Zimmerei- und Bedachung GmbH is a pioneer in the implementation of and research into the cradle-to-cradle principle in the construction sector, in which buildings serve as raw material stores and the materials used are returned to their biological and technical cycles at the end of their useful life.
The Green Structures Group has been active in the field of sustainable construction since 2023. The Group is characterised by a broad product range, particularly in the areas of commercial buildings, apartment buildings, public buildings and timber engineering, as well as bundled planning and product development expertise.
The partnership with Kai Laumann Zimmerei- und Bedachung GmbH strengthens Green Structures GmbH both geographically and professionally, particularly in the CLT sector, and overall plays a pioneering role in the DACH region in the field of sustainable construction. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
