Nancy Faeser, lawyer with GÖRG at the Frankfurt office for many years, has been appointed to the new Federal Government as Bundesinnenministerin (Federal Minister of the Interior). She will be the first woman to hold this position.
After studying law at Frankfurt's Goethe University and first legal stations, Nancy Faeser joined GÖRG in 2007 as part of Prof. Dr. Lutz Horn's team. She specialises in public procurement law, public commercial law and real estate law. Ms Faeser has been a member of the Hessian state parliament in Wiesbaden since 2003 and has been the head of the Hessian SPD since 2019.
