GÖRG advises TorAlarm on sale of minority stake to Austrian e-quadrat communications gmbh

[Hamburg, ] A GÖRG team led by Paul Caesar Rode has advised the founders and shareholders of the Düsseldorf based app provider TorAlarm on the sale of a minority stake to Austrian e-quadrat communications gmbh. e-quadrat’s involvement leads to a strengthening of the existing strategic partnership and the continuation of the success story of TorAlarm. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price or details concerning the transaction.

About TorAlarm

TorAlarm runs the fastest app for results of the Bundesliga as well as live scores of other European top leagues. With more than six million downloads and more than one million active users it is one of the most successful football apps in Germany. The start-up was founded in October 2014 by the brothers Maurice and Marcel Eisterhues and their father Dirk Eisterhues.

About e-quadrat

e-quadrat is an independent and international agency focussed on sports and sports betting. Business areas are media/marketing (especially exclusive marketing for international sport portals), production and syndication of sports data, conception of products relevant for target groups in the areas web, mobile and apps, creation and transaction of crossmedia campagnes as well as marketing consulting. The company was incorporated in 2002.
