GÖRG expands IP and Commercial practice with Kai Tumbrägel

Cologne/Berlin, 12.09.2024

GÖRG is strengthening its partnership with a new addition: Dr Kai Tumbrägel, a recognized expert in the fields of Intellectual Property (IP) and Commercial, will join the firm as an equity partner as of 01.10.2024. At the Cologne office, Dr Kai Tumbrägel will further expand the IP/Commercial practice together with the partners of the practice area. 

Dr Kai Tumbrägel is known and recommended for his comprehensive expertise in all areas of intellectual property, unfair competition, media and sports law. His clients, including leading companies from the consumer goods, fashion, technology and media sectors, value his competent advice both in and out of court. In addition, Dr Kai Tumbrägel has extensive experience in general commercial law, in particular in drafting contracts. The experienced lawyer returns to GÖRG after his time at DLA Piper, where he worked as an equity partner. He began his professional career there with Dr Wolfgang Prinz, who has since retired.

Dr Kai Tumbrägel will be accompanied by Dr Stephanie Reuvers (Counsel) and Dr Ricardo Vocke-Kerkhof (Associate) as well as Wolfgang May (Of Counsel).
