Led by Hamburg partner Dr Jan-Henric M. Punte, GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised the equity fund manager LOYS AG on the acquisition of a 50 per cent stake in the asset management boutique Vates Invest GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.

The owner-managed LOYS AG specialises in value-oriented active equity fund management. Founded in 1995, LOYS AG now has offices in Frankfurt am Main, Oldenburg, Chicago and Zug and is one of the established investment boutiques in the German-speaking world.
About Vates Invest GmbH
Vates Invest GmbH was founded in 2011 and is an owner-managed asset management boutique based in Obertshausen. It specialises in quantitative analyses of the monetary, economic and sentiment environment on a daily basis. The Vates Parade fund has embodied Vates Invest's portfolio management strategy since 2014. Since October 2022, Vates Invest has been distributing the Vates Aktien Offensiv fund, which incorporates around ten years of specialised knowledge in stock picker selection.
