GÖRG advises Principal Asset Management on the acquisition of a logistics property for the European logistics fund LOG IN

Frankfurt am Main, 16.09.2024

GÖRG, led by Frankfurt partner Dr Dennis Hog, has advised Principal Asset Management on the purchase of a logistics property in Espelkamp for the European logistics fund LOG IN, managed by Theoreim.

The 20,200 m² logistics building in Espelkamp, North Rhine-Westphalia, consists of two building sections and is let to a leading manufacturer of vending machines, checkout areas and industrial systems. It is located in the ‘Am Mittellandkanal’ business and logistics park near the Bielefeld/Münster/Osnabrück logistics region and has good transport links to Hanover and Bremen as well as to the Osnabrück freight transport centre, the ports of Osnabrück, Bremen, Emden and Münster-Osnabrück Airport.

LOG IN was created in 2022 by Principal Asset Management in partnership with the French alternative investment management company, Theoreim, and is the first French SCPI (Société Civile de Placement Immobilier) dedicated to European logistics.

Principal Asset Management is the investment and asset manager with eight offices in Europe and is seeking to increase LOG IN’s exposure to the industrial, logistics, datacentre and life science sectors through the acquisition of properties to complement the existing portfolio of nine properties in the UK, Spain, Italy and Germany.

Theoreim is a French alternative investment management company designing and managing property investment funds that are marketed to private and institutional clients.

Principal Asset Management was advised on the acquisition by a GÖRG team led by partner and real estate expert Dr Dennis Hog.
