GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised Mixology Verlags GmbH on the sale of the Magazine "MIXOLOGY - Magazine for bar culture".

Mixology Verlags GmbH has sold the magazine "MIXOLOGY - Magazin für Barkultur", which it published for the first time in 2003. The magazine is a special interest magazine for barkeepers, bar operators, the liquor industry as well as connoisseurs and bar visitors in German-speaking countries and has been in existence for over 16 years.

The buyer is Meininger Verlag GmbH, a publishing house founded in 1903, whose main focus is the publication of magazines and specialist books for the beverage and catering trade.

In addition to the magazine, Meininger Verlag GmbH also acquires the wide-reaching online portal "MIXOLOGY Online" as well as the well-known events and brands "Made in GSA" and "MIXOLOGY Bar Awards".

Helmut Adam, one of the two co-founders of the magazine alongside Jens Hasenbein, will continue to accompany the magazine as an Editor.
