GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the lead management of Dr. Bernt Paudtke, advised a consortium of investors comprising eCAPITAL, Munich Venture Partners and SET Ventures in connection with the sale of all of their shares in sonnen Holding GmbH (sonnen) to Shell Overseas Investment B.V. (Shell). Alongside eCAPITAL, Munich Venture Partners, SET Ventures, Inven Capital under the lead management of Dr. Abrar Kamyar (Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP) and GE Ventures unter the lead management of Michael zu Löwenstein (King & Spalding LLP) also sold their shareholding in sonnen to Shell which has agreed to acquire 100% of sonnen, a leader in smart energy storage systems and innovative energy services for households.
This transactions follows an investment by Shell in May 2018 and means that, post regulatory approval and completion, sonnen will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell.
