GÖRG advises HUK-COBURG on its investment in SDA SE Open Industry Solutions

Berlin, 20.12.2021

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised HUK-COBURG on an investment in SDA SE Open Industry Solutions. The largest motor insurer in Germany was previously a client of the Hamburg-based software provider, which was founded in 2016 by Signal Iduna and the IT service provider msg. In addition to HUK-COBURG and the founding shareholder Signal-Iduna, other well-known insurers also have stakes in SDA SE Open Industry Solutions.

With SDA, HUK-COBURG is investing in a digitalisation company that offers insurers an innovative IT service platform. It provides a digital modular system that can be used individually to build one's own insurance service platform. With the help of the platform, existing IT systems are to be linked easily and quickly. The focus is on data speed and security.

A GÖRG team led by Berlin partner Dr. Roland Hoffmann-Theinert accompanied HUK-COBURG in the transaction.
