On 7 October 2020, the Paderborn District Court ordered the preliminary insolvency proceedings of Perimeter Protection Germany GmbH, which has run into difficulties, to be administered in-house. The management of the security systems provider, based in Salzkotten, will be supported by the experienced GÖRG partners and restructuring experts, Dr Raul Taras (general manager) and Holger Rhode (reorganisation manager).
Perimeter Protection Germany GmbH has over 70 years of experience in the field of security solutions and is a leading manufacturer in the field of high security, access control and vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The product portfolio includes fence and gate systems, outdoor surveillance, barriers and high-security vehicle access barriers, as well as systems for controlling the flow of visitors, such as those used in the Allianz Arena in Munich. The insolvency debtor offers a wide range of products, planning and services on the market to ensure the best possible protection for all security areas. By filing for debtor-in-possession proceedings, Perimeter Protection Germany GmbH is aiming for a sustainable restructuring. The goal is to create a solid and stable economic foundation and to preserve the total of 115 jobs at the Salzkotten site and in the Braunschweig branch. Operations will continue as usual for the time being.
The Local Court of Paderborn has appointed Kristin Brocker (Eckert) as provisional insolvency monitor. Marcus Mertens, a partner at the highly specialised restructuring boutique Montag & Montag, is acting as a further general agent.
