GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised ÖHMI AG in connection with the Certania Group's investment in three of its nine subsidiaries, ÖHMI Analytik GmbH, ÖHMI EuroCert GmbH and ÖHMI Service GmbH.
ÖHMI Analytik GmbH is an internationally operating company specialising in chemical and microbiological laboratory analyses. ÖHMI EuroCert GmbH is an accredited certification body with a focus on safety, IT, energy, environmental protection and occupational health and safety and over 30 years of expertise in national and international audits. The ÖHMI Service GmbH offers real estate services tailored to the needs of its customers. The three subsidiaries have a total of aro und 250 employees.
Under the CERTANIA Holding umbrella, a private group of companies is being created in the areas of testing, inspection and certification with a special focus on sustainability and health orientation. The ÖHMI companies form the foundation of the CERTANIA Group, which is currently being established.
In the course of the investment, ÖHMI AG took a reverse stake in CERTANIA Holding: The CEO of ÖHMI AG, Dr. Carsten Transfeld, will continue to be involved in the management of the ÖHMI companies. The CERTANIA Group is committed to Magdeburg as the location of the ÖHMI companies and will support the growth course of the ÖHMI companies in Magdeburg with its know-how.
