GÖRG advises Cansativa on contract award procedure for logistics and services in the wholesale of cannabis flowers

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised Cansativa GmbH under the lead management of Dr. Jan Peter Müller on public procurement law aspects of the tender procedure of the Cannabis Agency of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) for the distribution of cannabis for medical purposes. Cansativa announced on August 20, 2020 that it was the only company to be awarded the contract for logistics and services in the wholesale of cannabis flowers from German cultivation. The company is now authorised to distribute cannabis flowers from German cultivation and is responsible, among other things, for storage, picking and outgoing logistics.
