GÖRG accompanies successful insolvency proceedings of Ridderskamp und Hahn

Essen, 29.06.2021

With its decision of 1 March 2021, the Essen Local Court has lifted the insolvency proceedings of Ridderskamp und Hahn GmbH. The long-established company has thus been successfully reorganised and distributions to creditors have already begun. Nils Meißner, partner at GÖRG Insolvenzverwaltung Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, accompanied the proceedings as trustee, while Christian Klein, Dr. Matthias Merkel and Bünyamin Karatas from Mönig Wirtschaftskanzlei provided advice to the management in self-administration.

In January of last year, the management of the Gelsenkirchen butchery filed an application with the Essen Local Court for reorganisation proceedings in self-administration. GÖRG partner Nils Meißner, a specialist lawyer for insolvency law, was then appointed as the company's trustee. After intensive negotiations, the creditors' meeting already approved the insolvency plan drawn up together with the advisors from Mönig on 15 December 2020.

With the decision of the Essen Local Court, the reorganisation of Ridderskamp und Hahn GmbH, which operates seven branches and employs over 100 people, has now been successfully completed.
