GÖRG Advises Deka on Acquisition of Munich’s HIGHRISE one Office Tower

30.03.2017

[Berlin, ] GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised Deka Immobilien on its purchase of Munich’s HIGHRISE one office building from Reis & Co. Real Estate, a Munich-based project development company. The GÖRG team headed by Jan Lindner-Figura, which included in particular Georg Christian Reuter, advised Deka Immobilien on the transaction from initial appraisal and due diligence up to preparation and negotiation of the final purchase agreement.

The new 65-meter office structure now under construction in the Rosenheimer Strasse in the immediate vicinity of Munich’s East Train Station is scheduled for completion in late 2017. The building consists of a 5-storey base and an integrated 17-story tower on top of an underground garage with 195 parking spaces. Most of the approximately 18.900 sq. m. of floor space has already been rented under long-term leases.

Deka’s acquisition of HIGHRISE one is one of a large number of transactions that are currently impacting the German real estate market. GÖRG regularly advises clients on the acquisition or sale of larger office complexes and shopping centres. Deka Immobilien has regularly turned to GÖRG for advice on transactions, most recently in connection with the sale of the Coca-Cola headquarters location in Berlin and the acquisition of the “Neue Mitte Fürth” shopping centre.
