GÖRG advises tacterion GmbH in relation to financing

30.09.2016

[Munich, ] Under the leadership of Dr. Christian Schröder, GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised Munich technology company tacterion GmbH in relation to the conclusion of a long-term partnership with the Unger corporate group in Weiden. tacterion GmbH will receive substantial funds in the coming years.

tacterion manufactures and sells completely stretchable, tactile sensor technology, which is the result of years of research work at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). The application of “Sensorskin” technology makes the surfaces of products and machines sensitive to touch. As a result, interaction between humans and technology becomes significantly more intuitive. This funding provides the necessary environment for introducing the patented technology to mass-market applications such as those for home entertainment products, automobiles and robotics.

tacterion GmbH was founded as a spin-off from the German Aerospace Centre in 2015. It participated in the TechFounders accelerator program of UnternehmerTUM in Munich. In addition, tacterion has won several awards, including selection by Bitkom as one of the top three IoT start-ups in 2015 and the 2016 award for the best start-up in the materials & manufacturing category at the Pioneers500 challenge.
