GÖRG successfully advised viataurus GmbH on the acquisition of Behrendt GmbH, B.A.S.E. Group and Greif-Alarm Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, providing comprehensive legal and tax advice. The viataurus Group has been a portfolio company of Ufenau Fund VII, advised by Ufenau Capital Partners, since 2023.
Behrendt GmbH, acquired for the viataurus Group, is an installation service provider for electrical, communications and security technology in the Hamburg metropolitan area that was acquired as part of a succession solution. Behrendt GmbH, based in Adendorf, Lower Saxony, was founded in 1992 and is one of the leading experts for the implementation of modern electrical, communication and security solutions in large commercial and residential buildings. As a full-service provider, the company also serves the future topics of smart homes, e-mobility, IT services and renewable energies, among others.
Founded in 2006, B.A.S.E. Group, consisting of B.A.S.E. GmbH, B.A.S.E. Solutions GmbH and B.A.S.E. Gebäudetechnik GmbH, specialises in the development and installation of lift shaft smoke extraction and ventilation systems in new and existing buildings. By combining the work areas of lift construction, energy consulting, SHEV system construction, fire alarm systems and façade construction, the company is able to offer an efficient, economical and flexible system solution in the area of shaft smoke extraction for every requirement profile.
Greif-Alarm Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, based in Greifswald, has been offering a comprehensive range of building security technology services as a competent company in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern since 1990. The range of services includes intrusion, hold-up and fire alarm technology as well as conventional and digital video surveillance, access control, barrier systems and nurse call systems.
The companies belonging to the viataurus Group have been active in the building security technology market for over 30 years. In recent years, the group has developed into one of the leading providers of security-critical infrastructure in buildings in northern Germany.
With its investments in Behrendt GmbH, B.A.S.E. Group and Greif-Alarm Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, the viataurus Group intends to continue to grow in the market, expand its range of services and further develop its positioning through targeted acquisitions in the future. The viataurus Group sees itself as a partner for companies and entrepreneurs and supports them in areas such as finance, administration, IT, marketing and, in particular, in the area of personnel and recruitment.
With these three partnerships, the viatarus Group has already grown to 9 companies. The initial transaction and all previous investments were all advised by GÖRG's cross-office teams under the responsible lead of Dr Tobias Fenck.
