GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB successfully advised the CEE Group on the acquisition of the Kuhbett and Kappel-Faas wind farms under the lead management of its partner Thoralf Herbold. The Hamburg-based asset manager CEE is thus expanding its portfolio by two further wind farms in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. The Kuhbett wind farm consists of four wind turbines with a rated output of 3.0 MW each. The Kappel-Faas wind farm comprises two wind turbines with a rated output of 2.3 MW each.
The seller is the Dutch project developer DunoAir. The commercial management is carried out by CEE Operations GmbH. DunoAir Windpark Management B.V. is responsible for the technical management of the two wind farms, which together produced almost 35 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of clean electricity in 2018.
GÖRG advised the CEE Group on all legal issues in connection with the transactions. In addition, GÖRG also provided comprehensive advice on tax and commercial issues, including the financial model, through its tax advisory and audit practice.
