GÖRG advises the sale of the Anita Brüche therapy centre to the Rehacon Group

Hamburg, 06.06.2019

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the leadership of its Hamburg partner Dr. John-Patrick Bischoff, advised Anita Brüche on the sale of the therapy centre she had founded.

With more than 50 employees, the Anita Brüche therapy centre treats more than 10,000 patients annually. Founded in Hamburg in 1988, it has now been successful on the market for more than 30 years. The therapy centre Anita Brüche is known and appreciated as a brand beyond the borders of Hamburg.

Rehacon, one of the leading companies for physiotherapeutic services in Germany, operates more than 100 therapy centres nationwide and is thus one of the largest providers in the European market. With more than 600 employees, most of whom treat their patients locally in the therapy centres, the group recently generated annual sales of around 36 million euros.

The acquisition expands Rehacon's regional presence in Hamburg and expands its service portfolio, for example by home visits to patients. The acquisition takes place almost two months after Waterland Private Equity's acquisition of Rehacon. Waterland Private Equity is now accompanying the first acquisition as part of a long-term buy & build strategy.

Corporate finance consulting was provided by the team led by Dr. Peter Urbanek of Dr. Urbanek Corporate Finance GmbH.
