[Frankfurt am Main, ] A team of lawyers from GÖRG has successfully advised Allianz Capital Partners on the acquisition of the two wind farms Calau II C and D (both in Brandenburg) from PNE WIND AG. The two wind farms, each with 5 wind energy systems, have a combined nominal output of 30.8 MW. PNE WIND AG developed both of the wind farms and will also take over the technical operations management upon their completion. While the Calau II C wind farm and a necessary transformer substation have already been commissioned, construction work is currently still being carried out on the Calau II D section.
GÖRG advised comprehensively on all legal matters in connection with the acquisition of the two projects. The team was led by Dr. Michael Heise (Frankfurt am Main) and comprised Wolf Kansteiner and Christopher Wright (both Berlin) advising on corporate matters and Thoralf Herbold and Dr. Carmen Schneider (both Cologne) advising on commercial contracts and regulatory matters. The real estate team was lead by Dr. Wolf zur Nieden (Cologne) and comprised Katharina Reiners and Thomas Windisch (all Cologne) and Stefanie Debus (Frankfurt am Main). Permitting matters were covered by Dr. Martin Spieler and Nora Schroeder (both Munich). Dr. Wibke Schumacher (Cologne) advised on tax and Dr. Christian Bürger (Cologne) advised on merger control.
