GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised X1F Group, a portfolio company of Ufenau VI German Asset Light, SLP, which is advised by Ufenau Capital Partners AG, on the acquisition of COMPIRICUS AG including a subsidiary in the USA. With this acquisition, the X1F Group confirms its position as one of the leading full service IT service providers for the financial industry and the insurance sector.
X1F GmbH was founded in spring 2021 from a merger of several IT providers: Hamburg-based IT consulting company and platform integrator IKOR, matrix technology, a Munich-based IT consulting and IT service provider, and IKOR Informationsfabrik GmbH, a expert in data analysis and artificial intelligence in Munster.
Following the acquisition of the IT consulting service provider ADWEKO Consulting, on which GÖRG also acted in an advisory capacity, a fifth company is now joining the IT group: COMPIRICUS AG, founded in 2009 in Düsseldorf as an owner-managed stock corporation, is one of the leading international implementation and development consultancies of software for asset, treasury and risk management with SAP. With the new additions, X1F is strengthening its portfolio in the area of business processes, which, together with the areas of data infrastructure and data analysis, is one of the core elements for digitisation strategies. In total, the group now employs more than 720 people at 26 locations in Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia, generating an annual turnover of more than 100 million euros.
In the transaction, Ufenau Capital Partners and X1F Group once again are relying on the proven team of GÖRG partners Dr. Tobias Fenck and Dr. Andrea Zimmermann. The experienced private equity experts most recently advised X1F on the acquisition of ADWEKO Consulting GmbH and already assisted Ufenau on the investments in and the merger of IKOR, matrix technology and IKOR Informationsfabrik.
