The Senvion Group, an internationally-active business in the wind energy sector with a group turnover of approx. € 1.8 billion in 2018 and a balance sheet total of approx. € 2 billion, intends to implement its transformation programme that was launched in January 2019 with a restructuring programme in self-administration.
To support the management of the business, Dr. Gerrit Hölzle and Dr. Thorsten Bieg, both,GÖRG partners and proven experts in self-administered restructuring proceedings, were appointed to the management of the applicant companies.
The bupervisory board and Senvion's principal shareholder, as well as the main financing partners, support management's decision in favour of self-administration; this decision was approved by the Hamburg Insolvency Court and was also unanimously approved by the provisional creditor committee.
