On November 12, 2024, the Charlottenburg District Court in Berlin approved the petition for preliminary self-administration over the assets of HH2E AG and its subsidiary, HH2E Werk Lubmin GmbH. GÖRG partners Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze and Sascha Feies were appointed to support the proceedings, assuming positions on the board and executive management of the companies. Dr Gordon Geiser of GT Restructuring was appointed as the preliminary custodian in both cases.
The application was necessitated by the need to secure further financing for the continued operation of the startup. The objective of the self-administration process is to implement a sustainable restructuring of HH2E AG through a structured process, securing the company's financing with the support of a new investor. To this end, a structured M&A process will be initiated promptly.
HH2E AG, founded in 2021, is a startup focused on the production of green hydrogen. The HH2E Group develops, constructs, and operates hydrogen projects at various locations in Germany, including Lubmin and Thierbach.
