[Cologne, ] GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has successfully advised Trianel Onshore Windkraftwerke GmbH & Co. KG in the acquisition of its new wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein. Through the 15-megawatt Bendorf wind farm in Rendsburg-Eckernförde the utility company owned by 16 municipalities and Trianel GmbH is continuing its strategy of optimizing the opportunities provided by wind energy through operation of turbines distributed over a wide area. The wind farm consists of five Enercon E101 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.05 megawatts. The seller of the wind farm is the Windstrom Group, which was also the group responsible for planning and erecting the wind farm.
Trianel is a long-standing client of GÖRG's and the two have enjoyed close relations for many years. The law firm has advised Trianel on the acquisition of other wind farms in Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt as well as in connection with the realization of the Borkum Offshore wind farm (see our press releases of 14 December 2010 and 19 February 2015). GÖRG were also Trianel’s lawyers for the realization of the first two wind farms acquired by Trianel Onshore Windkraftwerke GmbH & Co. KG, the Polleben and Volkstedt wind farms in Saxony-Anhalt.
