GÖRG advises reev on Series A financing round

Munich, 15.05.2024

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, led by Munich partner Sebastian Frech, provided legal advice to Munich-based eMobility startup reev on its €10 million Series A financing round.

The financing round was led by Future Energy Ventures, a venture capital fund with major anchor investors such as energy provider E.ON and the European Investment Fund, as well as global impact investor Blue Earth Capital.

reev is a leading provider of smart charging solutions in the field of software-based charging station management. The company's cloud software covers the entire range of applications from installation to daily operation and is compatible with over 250 wallboxes. The company was founded in 2018 and has already attracted well-known investors such as the German energy provider N-ERGIE in the past.

reev intends to invest the fresh capital in its growth strategy in the DACH region and the development of new markets, thereby further advancing the roll-out of smart charging infrastructure.

reev was comprehensively advised on the financing round by a GÖRG team led by Munich-based partner Sebastian Frech. Frech commented: ‘The roll-out of smart charging infrastructure is a decisive factor in the success of sustainable mobility. I am delighted that with reev, we can successfully support an important market player in this area.’
