GÖRG advises BSU Holding on Management Buyout

Hamburg, 19.02.2025

Under the lead of Hamburg partner Prof Dr Stephan R. Göthel, GÖRG advised BSU Holding GmbH from Berlin on a management buyout.

BSU Holding GmbH and its subsidiaries provide services in the areas of building renovation, project planning and the installation and maintenance of gas, water and heating systems. A particular focus is on the digital transformation of the trades and the creation of sustainable structures and processes for customers.

As part of a management buyout (MBO), all shares in BSU Holding held by the founding partners and managing directors Heiko Ludwig and Mike Ortmann were sold to the new managing directors André Tischler and Matthias Gommlich, who have already held leading positions in the BSU Group for many years. This step marks the successful completion of the generation change.

A GÖRG team led by Prof Dr Stephan R. Göthel advised BSU Holding and its shareholders on all legal aspects of the transaction.

Prof Dr Stephan R. Göthel advises companies from a wide range of sectors, from start-ups to market leaders, as well as investors on M&A, private equity/venture capital and corporate law. Stephan R. Göthel has extensive experience in national and international sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance as well as management and employee participation programs.
