GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the lead management of Dr. Thomas Lange, advised a consortium of companies on the project financing for the construction of 850 fast charging points. The consortium members are HOCHTIEF Ladepartner GmbH, a subsidiary of HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH, and EWE Go GmbH, a subsidiary of EWE AG. The fast-charging points are being built as part of the Deutschlandnetz project.
In September, a joint venture between HOCHTIEF and EWE Go was awarded the contract for two regional lots in six federal states for the construction of a total of 850 charging points. GÖRG advised the company during the tendering process with a cross-location team led by Frankfurt partner Dr Kai-Uwe Schneevogl. The subsequent project financing of the infrastructure project was handled by partner Dr Thomas Lange, who specialises in complex financing.
The "Deutschlandnetz" will ensure a basic supply of HPC (high-power charging) fast-charging infrastructure for e-cars at more than 1,000 locations with around 9,000 charging points in Germany.
Financing for the two lots is being provided by a banking club consisting of KfW IPEX-Bank, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) and Siemens Financial Services via Siemens Bank.
