"With its decision of January 25, 2022 on the reimbursement of training costs in connection with the acquisition of a type rating as co-pilot of the Airbus A320 Family, the German Federal Labor Court (BAG) has reached a decision of practical relevance. The BAG clarifies that an agreement on the participation of employees in their training costs is not already invalid because it does not grant the employee the possibility to avoid the repayment obligation by remaining loyal to the company."
