The renowned US publisher Best Lawyers, in cooperation with Handelsblatt magazine, has awarded numerous GÖRG lawyers in various fields of law. A total of 84 partners and lawyers were recommended as "The Best Lawyers in Germany" this year. In addition, Dr. Thorsten Bieg, partner at GÖRG's Hamburg office for restructuring and insolvency administration, was honoured with the "Lawyer Of The Year" award.
Furthermore, Meganush Hambarsoomian, Associate in the area of Labour Law in Cologne, and Dr. Henning Wendt, Associated Partner for Public Commercial Law in the Hamburg office, were recognised as up-and-coming talents with the award "Best Lawyers: Ones To Watch".
For the 13th time and exclusively for Handelsblatt Group, Best Lawyers has identified Germany’s most highly respected legal advisors based on peer review. For the purposes of this process, participation in the survey was restricted to lawyers who were asked for their opinions on the professional abilities of their competitors. Best Lawyers is known as the US market leader in terms of evaluation of attorneys. Rankings have a long tradition in the US and Best Lawyers has published their lists for over three decades, starting in 1983.
