Under the lead management of Frankfurt partner Dr. Dennis Hog GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten provided legal and tax advice to VALUES Real Estate on the purchase of a logistics portfolio from DWS for the special AIF "VALUES Logistikimmobilienfonds".
The logistics portfolio acquired by VALUES comprises four cross-dock transshipment halls with a total of 20,000 square meters of storage space on 85,000 square meters of land in Dresden, Essen, Rostock and Neusäß near Augsburg. The last-mile transshipment halls, which were built in 2015/16, are leased to DHL on a long-term basis. The seller is the DWS real estate mutual fund "grundbesitz Fokus Deutschland". The deal volume amounts to around EUR 44 million.
With this acquisition, the VALUES logistics real estate fund, which focuses on logistics and light industrial properties in specific prime locations in A and B locations at logistics hubs and comprises a total of 16 logistics properties, is fully invested.
