GÖRG Partner Prof. Dr. Torsten Martini, as the insolvency administrator of Beechcraft Berlin Aviation GmbH (BBA), based in Schönefeld, has sold essential assets of the business to FAI Technik GmbH (FAI). FAI will also take over a large part of BBA's employees.
BBA GmbH was founded in 1991 and is one of the leading service and engineering companies in Germany and Europe. BBA maintains, repairs and overhauls aircraft and can look back on a long experience in aviation.

In the course of the insolvency proceedings, major parts of the company have now been sold to FAI, a subsidiary of the German operator FAI rent -a-jet. With the takeover of BBA, FAI Technik GmbH is opening another maintenance base at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). FAI will continue to employ more than 90 % of BBA's staff at the new location.
