GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised the Ufenau Continuation 3 Fund, advised by Ufenau Capital Partners AG (Ufenau), on the raising of an acquisition financing. The lender is CVC Credit, the credit arm of the globally active investment company CVC.
With the help of the financing, the Ufenau Continuation 3 Fund acquired the Altano Group, a leading provider of equine veterinary services in Europe, and refinanced the group's current financing. The fund was set up by Ufenau partly for the investment in Altano, on which GÖRG also acted as advisor.
Altano Group is a veterinary clinic group based in Dülmen, which was founded in 2017. The portfolio now consists of 20 clinics as well as 20 affiliated practices with over 330 veterinarians and over 1000 employees. Based on the new financing, the group can continue its successful growth strategy.
GÖRG assisted Ufenau in the complex acquisition financing with banking and finance law advice. In the process, the experienced Cologne partner Dr. Thomas Lange led and coordinated an international team of five foreign law firms
