GÖRG was awarded as top law firm for insolvency law and restructuring. In its edition 31/2019, the magazine WirtschaftsWoche commissioned an independent jury to identify the top law firms.
For the lists of the best German law firms and lawyers for insolvency law and restructuring, the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) interviewed more than 1000 lawyers in 90 law firms for the most prestigious colleagues. This list has been presented to a jury of experts. The jury filtered out 39 insolvency law firms with 65 highly recommended lawyers for insolvency law and 35 law firms with 53 renowned lawyers for restructuring.
The WirtschaftsWoche expert panel and the jury selected five GÖRG partners as leading experts in Germany in 2019: Dr. Helmut Balthasar, Dr. Thorsten Bieg, Dr. Carsten Müller-Seils and Dr. Martin Stockhausen in the field of restructuring as well as Dr. Gerrit Hölzle in the field of insolvency law.
