Völkel Mikroelektronik was founded in 1984 by Ulrich Völkel in Münster.
Since then, the company has established itself as a technology leader in control systems for large mobile machines in construction, agriculture and forestry. At the Company’s Münster site, the highly specialised employees develop and produce hardware and program custom-made software at the forefront of technological advancement. Völkel Mikroelektronik's customers include series manufacturers, special machine builders and construction companies.
Völkel Mikroelektronik is Dacke Industri’s first investment in Germany and will be part of its Electronics division. Dacke Industri sees the acquisition of the Westphalian technology company as a further step on its growth path and a strengthening of its commitment to the European market.
