Metehan Uzunçakmak, LL.M. is an associate at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB in Cologne. With his comprehensive expertise, he advises national and international companies on all matters of German and European antitrust law.
Metehan Uzunçakmak specialises in merger control law advice on transactions, advising companies on mergers, takeovers and other mergers and reviewing antitrust law aspects. He also represents clients before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission and German and European courts.
A further focus of his work lies in assisting with fine and abuse proceedings. In this context, he assists companies in the defence against cartel fines and allegations of abuse of a dominant market position.
Metehan Uzunçakmak offers his expertise to companies in cartel damages proceedings by supporting them in legal disputes concerning claims for damages due to violations of antitrust law.
