GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised AVIA Mineralöle GmbH, a subsidiary of the German AVIA Group in Munich, on the acquisition of 46 ESSO and OMV petrol stations in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. The sellers are the petrol station operators EG Deutschland GmbH and OMV Retail Deutschland GmbH. Following the conclusion of a merger control procedure, the purchase was approved by the competent antitrust authority.
AVIA Mineralöle GmbH coordinated the acquisition of the petrol stations for individual companies of the medium-sized German AVIA Group. The purchasing companies thus have many years of extensive experience in the German petrol station market as well as regional sub-markets.
A GÖRG team led by experienced Munich partner Dr. Stefan Heyder assisted AVIA Mineralöle GmbH in the transaction, inter alia, with corporate and antitrust advice and expertise.
