GÖRG advises shareholders of Rommel clinic on sale to protestant deaconess association Siloah

Cologne, 11.09.2023

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised the shareholders of Rommel Klinik GmbH in Bad Wildbad on the sale of a majority stake to Evangelische Diakonissenverein Siloah (protestant deaconess association). The transfer of the shares became effective on 1 September 2023.

Following the entry of the protestant deaconess association Siloah as majority shareholder in the Rommel Klinik GmbH, both the medical orientation and the focus of the specialist hospital for orthopaedics, neurology and pain medicine as well as the location at the Kurpark in Bad Wildbad will be retained.

The approximately 130 employees of the Rommel Klinik care for about 2,000 acute inpatients from all over Germany each year with a focus on the conservative treatment of orthopaedic and neurological diseases. The merger and strategic partnership with the Siloah Protestant Deaconess Association and the connection to the Siloah St. Trudpert Clinic, which is broadly positioned with eleven clinics and an Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, will strengthen the range of medical services offered by both facilities and open up new possibilities for patient care.

A GÖRG team led by experienced cologne-based partner Dr. Alexander Kessler provided legal advice to the shareholders of Rommel Klinik GmbH in the successful transaction.
