GÖRG advises GBC Group on acquisition of Maxxys AG

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised the IT services group GBC on the acquisition of all shares in Maxxys AG from Butzbach in Hesse.

The GBC Group, based in Sindelfingen (BW), is positioning itself through the merger of innovative and technologically oriented companies for the digitalisation of small and medium-sized businesses and focuses on services and products in the areas of Cloud & Infrastructure, Modern Work, IT outsourcing and IT security & compliance.

With the acquisition of Hessian Maxxys AG, a specialist for IT software system integration founded in 2002, GBC continues its buy and build strategy to establish a leading IT managed services group. Maxxys offers consulting, IT infrastructure analysis, customer -oriented consulting and customising, as well as the implementation of software and the commissioning of IT infrastructure and systems.

GÖRG advised GBC on the acquisition with corporate and real estate law under the lead management of Frankfurt partner Dr. Lars Weber. Last year, the team led by Lars Weber had already advised on the acquisition of the system house Pohl Consulting Team GmbH from Bad Arolsen (Hesse). The IT group also relied on the expertise of GÖRG for the entry of the investor Pride Capital Partners in 2022.
