GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the lead management of partner Thoralf Herbold, advised CEE Group on the acquisition of a 12.6 MW wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt. The seller is the Danish project developer European Energy.
The newly constructed wind farm with three Enercon wind turbines is located around 50 kilometres south-west of Leipzig. The turbines have been in operation since November 2023. The E-138 EP3 wind turbines each have a rated output of 4.2 megawatts (MW), giving the wind farm a total capacity of 12.6 MW. Two other wind farms from the CEE Group portfolio with a total nominal capacity of 34.2 MW are located in the immediate vicinity.
The seller of the Bloosballich wind farm is European Energy A/S. This is the tenth transaction between European Energy and the CEE Group. The wind farm was acquired as part of a share deal. GÖRG structured the purchase process for the CEE Group and advised it on all legal issues relating to the successful transaction. In addition to energy law expertise, the advice also included corporate law aspects as well as the structuring, negotiation and finalisation of a general contractor agreement and the technical management agreement.
GÖRG regularly advises operators of solar and wind energy parks as well as investors on the acquisition and sale of renewable energy plants and project developers on the realisation of energy generation and storage plants.
