Dr. Ilka Mainz is a lawyer and associated partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB in Cologne. With extensive expertise in energy law, she advises national and international companies in the energy sector. Her practice covers all facets of energy law, in particular in the areas of renewable energies and combined heat and power generation.
One focus of her work is the legal support of project developments in the field of renewable energies, in particular photovoltaic systems, onshore wind energy systems and storage concepts. She also specialises in advising on M&A transactions in the energy sector. Dr Ilka Mainz also specialises in regulatory issues and regularly advises companies on energy contract law and energy trading, including the structuring of power purchase agreements.
