GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the lead management of partner Thoralf Herbold, successfully advised the investment fund ENERCON Renewable Energy Fund S.A. on the acquisition of the Heringen-Waltersberg wind farm in Hesse through a subsidiary. The fund was designed by ENERCON GmbH as a closed-end reserved alternative investment fund (S.A., SICAV-RAIF) for institutional investors. The fund's investment advisor is EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM), a subsidiary of Evangelische Bank.
The Heringen-Waltersberg wind farm consists of seven ENERCON E-101 wind turbines with a nominal output of 3.05 MW each and was developed by ENERCON GmbH itself. The wind farm has been fully constructed at the end of December 2021. During the operating phase, ENERCON GmbH will provide the necessary services.
GÖRG advised the investment fund on all legal issues in connection with the transaction and accompanied the acquisition process.
