GÖRG acts for the Talanx Group in the acquisition of the Ludwigsau wind farm

[Cologne, ] GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has successfully advised the Talanx Group in its acquisition of the Ludwigsau wind farm in Hesse. The wind farm consists of seven Vestas V-112 wind turbines whose total rated capacity is 23.1 megawatts. The wind turbines are currently being erected and are expected to be commissioned during the first quarter of 2016. The seller of the wind farm is the juwi Group, which was also the group responsible for planning the project. The wind farm was purchased through the acquisition of the shares of the project company.

GÖRG provided Talanx with advice on a broad range of legal issues relating to the transaction. GÖRG's team of lawyers was made up of Dr. Ruth Büchl-Winter (Corporate/Tax), Thorsten Kirch and Dr. Damian Tigges (both Real Estate), Dr. Carmen Schneider (Grid Connection/Renewable Energy Sources Act), Jan Schellenberger (Project Agreements/General Contractor Agreements) and Dr. Thomas Lange (Finance). The team was headed by Thoralf Herbold, who also advised on permit issues and negotiated the structuring of the share purchase agreement.
