GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, under the lead management of partner Prof. Dr. Lutz Horn, advised the University Hospital Frankfurt on the acquisition of the eye practice clinic Triangulum. Presumably with effect from 1 January 2021, the eye clinic will be transferred into two ophthalmological medical care centres (MVZ), which will be newly established via a wholly-owned subsidiary of the university hospital.
The Triangulum Eye Clinic is a provider of ambulatory ophthalmology services and operates four locations (Gelnhausen, Hanau, Langenselbold and Bad Soden-Salmünster), which are to be continued unchanged. A total of 16 doctors and more than 50 non-medical specialists are employed there.
The University Hospital hopes to profit from the takeover through the increasing ambulatory treatment of ophthalmology. Together with the in-house clinic for ophthalmology, synergies are to be created primarily in the medical field for the Triangulum Eye Clinic.
