On 21 January, GÖRG's career committee decided to promote Dr. Ruth Büchl-Winter (Cologne), Dr. Jia Ding, LL.M. (Frankfurt), Dr. Oliver Jauch (Hamburg) and Dr. Matthias Stoeckle (Munich) to Counsel. In addition, Malik Djouah, LL.M. (Cologne), Dr Ulrich Christian Killius, LL.B. (Berlin), Lena Klever (Cologne), Claus Christopher Schiller (Cologne) and Robert C. Schindler (Frankfurt) were appointed Associated Partners.

Dr. Ruth Büchl-Winter has been with the Cologne office of GÖRG since 2011. She specialises in corporate and tax law and primarily advises on energy law matters.
Dr. Jia Ding, LL.M. joined GÖRG in Frankfurt am Main in 2014. Dr. Ding is admitted to the bar in China and advises Chinese companies on M&A transactions and other investments in Germany and Europe as well as German clients on legal issues in China.
Dr. Oliver Jauch has been part of the Hamburg GÖRG team since 2013. He advises the public sector as well as national and international companies on all issues of public commercial law, in particular public procurement law, as well as subsidy law and public funding law.
Dr. Matthias Stoeckle joined the Munich office of GÖRG in 2008. He focuses on private equity, venture capital, litigation and arbitration.
Malik Djouah, LL.M., Maître en Droit joined GÖRG in Cologne in 2016. He advises insurance companies, institutional investors, banks and project developers, among others, on all real estate law matters. He specialises in due diligence processes for complex real estate transactions.
Dr. Ulrich Christian Killius, LL.B. advises national and international companies as well as the public sector in all matters of public commercial law, in particular energy law, and health law from the Berlin office.
Lena Klever joined GÖRG in Cologne in 2015 and advises companies in all aspects of individual and collective labour law. She has particular experience providing labour law advice in the context of reorganisations.
Claus Christopher Schiller also started at the Cologne office in 2016. He offers advice to national and international companies on all matters of corporate law, in particular for business start-ups, company restructurings and other corporate law structural measures, as well as for M&A and private equity transactions.
Robert C. Schindler joined GÖRG in Frankfurt am Main in 2018. He advises companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and other financial investors, on all aspects of commercial and corporate law regarding M&A and private equity transactions.
The lawyers have thus reached the next step on the career ladder towards partnership. The appointment of the new equity and salary partners of GÖRG will take place at a separate partners' meeting in the spring of this year.
