Frankfurt am Main, 21.01.2025

A GÖRG team, led by Frankfurt partner Dr Lars Weber, supported the GBC Group in the acquisition of the bk systems Group. The advisory services covered all corporate, IT, and employment law aspects of the transaction.

With this acquisition, the GBC Group, headquartered in Sindelfingen, is further strengthening its presence in northern Germany, in addition to its existing investments in Comp-Pro Systemhaus GmbH and Bolde GmbH, thereby expanding its "North-Hub Cluster."

The bk systems Group, based in Kaltenkirchen with a branch in Schönkirchen/Kiel, has been operating as an IT service provider in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg for over 40 years, specialising in IT infrastructure, printing, digitalisation, as well as data protection and security.

Founded in 2020 and based in Sindelfingen, the GBC Group brings together innovative and technology-driven companies to drive digitalisation in the SME sector. It focuses on services and products in the areas of cloud & infrastructure, modern work, IT outsourcing, and IT security & compliance.
