Dr. Marie Ackermann, LL.M. (Paris) is a lawyer and partner in the Hamburg office of GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB. With her extensive expertise in environmental and planning law, public construction law as well as energy and climate, she advises all public sector and corporate clients. She has many years of experience in legal project management, particularly in the expansion of energy infrastructure and in the rail, road and port sectors. She regularly supports consultation and planning approval authorities as well as project sponsors in the approval procedures for major infrastructure projects. A further focus of her work is public construction law and assisting with complex plant approvals. Dr. Marie Ackermann also has particular experience in litigation before the Federal Administrative Court and the lower courts of administrative jurisdiction.
Dr. Marie Ackermann has been appointed to the Committee for Environmental Law of the German Bar Association in 2022 and is on the board of the International Environmental Law Day e.V. She is also involved in prestigious organizations such as the Society for Environmental Law e.V. and the Administrative Law Working Group of the Hamburg Bar Association. She is the author of numerous publications and a regular contributor to the juris PraxisReport on environmental and planning law.
